About Brad

Ancient Astronaut Cartoons

Hey, I'm Brad.
I’m an illustrator and writer.
I’ve always loved to draw. That’s what everyone says on their about page, right? My first memory was drawing the Hulk for my older sister’s friends. I was probably 5. They thought it was really good. Looking back on it now, I should have charged them because I did a lot of drawings for them for free. You live and learn, I guess. So, yeah, I’ve always loved to draw. I’ve always loved comics as well. I can’t remember a time where I didn’t have a comic project I was working on in some form or another. In 2003, I made a short comic called Gnorm the Gnome about a yard gnome named Gnorm (bet you didn’t see that coming) to enter into an online contest. I didn’t win, but five years later it reappeared as my first ongoing comic strip that I published online called As the Grass Grows.Since then, I’ve been making comics to publish myself, either online or self-published books like Sector Four, a sci-fi graphic novel about robots taking over the world; Change Log (still ongoing), a humor comic strip about a dog who is a tech journalist; Near the Wind, an action/adventure comic about anthropomorphic pirates, and my upcoming project called The Atlantean, another sci-fi story about an atlantean bodyguard in space.I’ve also been doing comic and illustration projects for a wide variety of clients. If you think I’d be a good fit for your project, feel free to send me an email about it.You can see more of my illustration work through the button below.
